Coffee in a cardboard cup

I recently purchased a cintiq and am loving it. However it is very easy to fall into the digital hole that so very few ever come out of. I am dedicated to my craft and feel the need for tactile creation so I have been doing some inkings at the end of each day using drawings from my sketchbooks.

Beautiful sketch Pete! I hear you on the Cintiq. I love mine, maybe a bit too much. Drop me a line.

so awesome! I love the pushed character combined with the intricate penwork- its like gibson with a way better sense of humour ^_^

Oooooh, you in a digital hole could be a bad thing! LOL. I'm sure it would be a fabulous one, though. But I feel that same way about digital vs. traditional photography. The problem for me is... it's so hard to get into a darkroom, and I'm not at all able to have one of my own... so digital it is. But man do I miss the smell of chemicals and the sound of water.

Glad to see you back posting. I've missed you! We still have to get together, but well, it's been too damn cold and I hate the cold. Luvya!

honestly i am quite dissapointed, the sketch is no better than what a baboon with a crayon would scribble on some toilet paper.....USED TOILET PAPER!!!!!

I dare say the baboon would be more nimble than i am with the crayon-no question. Have you seen what some of them can do? GENIUS!

It was done on recycled paper, so you may be right about the used TP as well!

I really love this a lot.
I swear there is a woman working at my local library that looks exactly like that!

(I don't normally leave comments but now I am an official blogger... YAY!)
